Ali Gray Gallery is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Mark Schianca, featuring a vibrant new collection of paintings celebrating the unmistakable spirit of summer on Cape Cod.

Drawing on a background in graphic design, Schianca creates paintings that are both meticulously composed and joyfully expressive. Bold color, clean geometry, and saturated light blur the line between fine art and graphic design, resulting in works that feel fresh, playful, and instantly recognizable.

This exhibition brings together many of Schianca's favorite subjects: iconic swimsuits, striped beach umbrellas, sun-worn beach chairs, and the distinctive homes and storefronts that define Provincetown. 

Having spent summers on Cape Cod and in Provincetown, Schianca has long been inspired by the region's architecture and extraordinary light. His paintings distill familiar scenes into bold, graphic compositions that evoke both memory and place, inviting viewers to experience Provincetown through a lens of color, warmth, and optimism.
