Ali Gray is the founder of Ali Gray Gallery, bringing decades of experience as an entrepreneur, business leader, and marketing and business development professional to the Provincetown art community.
For much of her career, Ali has built and led mission-driven organizations, specializing in growth strategy, brand development, fundraising, and relationship-based business development. As the founder and president of Pear Associates, a successful consulting firm she launched in 2018, Ali advised nonprofit and public-sector organizations across New England on strategic planning, revenue growth, marketing, and partnerships. Under her leadership, Pear Associates grew into a multi-consultant firm known for its thoughtful, people-centered approach to building sustainable organizations.
Ali’s work has always centered on connecting vision with execution—helping organizations tell their stories clearly, build meaningful relationships, and create long-term value. That same philosophy now guides her work as a gallery owner: supporting artists, cultivating collectors, and creating an inviting, dynamic space where art and community intersect.
Provincetown has been part of Ali’s life for as long as she can remember. She has been coming to P-Town her entire life, and in 2021, she and her wife, Julie, purchased a home and began spending part of each year here. Opening Ali Gray Gallery represents a natural next step—deepening those roots and contributing to a place that has long inspired her.
Through her time in Provincetown, Ali has been immersed in its extraordinary artist community and is excited to formally join it as a gallery owner. She is particularly passionate about creating a gallery that reflects Provincetown’s creative spirit while fostering thoughtful representation, collaboration, and access for both artists and collectors.
Ali’s wife, Julie Gray, is also an artist. Julie works primarily in white-line printmaking and has recently expanded her practice to include oil painting and ceramics. Her work will be featured at Ali Gray Gallery, adding a deeply personal layer to the gallery’s story and programming.
